God created man to fellowship with him and to serve, honor and obey him. We serve at His pleasure to do His will

Through out the years and today man has and is searching for his purpose in life. If one will accept the Bible it Gives the answer to that question. If not, well you may have to give up or keep searching. The Bible not only tells us our purpose but it tells us how to fulfill that purpose. However the key to achieving this purpose is to do God's Will and obey His commandments. Not only when they line up with our plan but when they do not. The means total submission of our will, our plans, or hopes and our goals. That is the rub. You either total submit your will to God or you don't. If you only submit those elements that you decide (that are comfortable or convenient) then you haven't really submitted. Let us look now and see what the bible tells us man's purpose in life is!

Love God Jesus said to him, " 'You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.'[Mat 22:37 ] By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God and keep His commandments. [1 John 5:2 ]

When we love God we:

• Sing Praises to Him Praise the LORD, for the LORD is good; Sing praises to His name, for it is pleasant. [Psa 135:3]
• Give Him Honor Honor and majesty are before Him; Strength and gladness are in His place. [1 Chr 16:27 ]
• Sing out the honor of His name; Make His praise glorious. [Psa 66:2 ]
• Fear Him ..., but shall fear your God: I am the LORD. [Lev 19:14 ]
• Fellowship with Him - and truly our fellowship is with the Father and with His Son Jesus Christ. [Phil 1:5 ]
• Do His Will
• Love our neighbor "And the second is like it: 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself.'[Mat 22:39]
• Make disciples -"Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, "teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." Amen. [Mat 28:19, 20 ]
