GOD'S PLAN AND INTERVENTION
In Our Life

The issue is does God have a plan set out for our lives? Will He help us find that plan? Will God direct our path? Even when we don't realize we have lost the path or need the path, will He intervene in our lives and the lives of others? Or is He just an impersonal God that set the World in motion and just stands back and observes? I am convicted that He intervenes.

As you will see in the passages below, God is a personal God and does have an individual plan for each of our lives. If we will allow Him and ask Him, He will direct each (step) along that path. He knows where we are on his path (plan) and if we are straying or slipping. The Bible tells us we can know His plan through His Word (both written and reveled) and by the leading of the Holy Spirit. Our problem is we want to see the whole plan. God however usually only reveals one step at a time as we need it.

God has a plan for each of our lives:
I know what I'm doing. I have it all planned out-plans to take care of you, not abandon you, plans to give you the future you hope for. Jeremiah 29:11 (TMNT)

• You will show me the path of life; Psalms 16:11 (NKJV)
• He also brought me up out of a horrible pit, Out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, And established my steps. Psalms 40:2
• The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord, Psalms 37:23 (NKJV)
• In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths. Proverbs 3:6 (NKJV)
• He will teach us His ways, And we shall walk in His paths. Isaiah 2:3 (NKJV)
• I will bring the blind by a way they did not know; I will lead them in paths they have not known. I will make darkness light before them, And crooked places straight. These things I will do for them, And not forsake them. Isaiah 42:16 (NKJV)
• He shall direct your paths. Proverbs 3:6
• A man's heart plans his way, But the Lord directs his steps. Proverbs 16:9 (NKJV)

• You comprehend my path and my lying down, And are acquainted with all my ways. Psalms 139:3 (NKJV)
• Does He not see my ways, And count all my steps? Job 31:4 (NKJV)
• How do we find Gods Path/Plan?
• In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths. Proverbs 3:6 (NKJV)
• Your word is a lamp to my feet And a light to my path Psalms 119:105 (NKJV)
• I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. (Gal 5:16 NKJV)
• If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. James 1:5 (NKJV)

• But the Spirit himself maketh intercession for us …according to the will of God. Romans 8:26
• But God stepped in and saved me from certain death. Job 33:28
• Soften up, God, and intervene; hurry and get me some help, God intervened and they let him go. Psalms 40:13
• You will be driven away from human company and live with the wild animals. You will graze on grass like an ox. You will be soaked in heaven's dew. This will go on for seven seasons, and you will learn that the High God rules over human kingdoms and that he arranges all kingdom affairs.
• "Behold, therefore, I stretched out My hand against you, diminished your allotment, … Ezekiel 16:27
• "We were slaves to Pharaoh in Egypt and God powerfully intervened and got us out of that country. 22We stood there and watched as God delivered miracle-signs, great wonders, and evil-visitations on Egypt, on Pharaoh and his household. 23He pulled us out of there so he could bring us here and give us the land he so solemnly promised to our ancestors. Deuteronomy 6:21 - 6:22

God has a plan for each of His children and He has a plan for His World. There is a path that we must take to fulfill that plan. God will guide us (direct our foot steps) if we will allow Him. He will give us the wisdom and knowledge we need when we ask for it. Although He give us the choices as to whether we will follow His plan, God does intervene and change events and individuals hearts and actions to clear (make available) his path .

If we will seek God and the guidance of His Holy Spirit, He will lead us along His path to fulfill His plan. God says this plan is good and will give us the desires of our heart. God does not say that His path will be easy or with out pain. He does not say it will be the desires of our heart today. For as God molds us, as we travel His path, He will also change our heart and the desires of our heart.

I pray that you would submit your life (will) to God's plan and allow Him through the Holy Spirit to Guide you.
